If you want "a wonderful place to forget about winter", this "beautiful" Kapolei resort with "doting service" about 30 minutes from Waikiki is "well worth the drive"; "play golf in the morning", hit the "relaxing spa" in the afternoon, "have a sunset dinner", then "sit under the moonlight at the lagoon" before heading back to your "spacious" room; it's "pure bliss" for all except those who don't want to be "away from" the action.

Great beach and a good scenery.
Too far from city, some front desk staff is rude, and have to pay for tennis.

Good if you want to stay at resort during day, not good if you want to travel and see things - too far out.

Nice ocean view.
Room amenities are old.

Nice hotel, very spacious room. Nice views. However remote from the city. Room amenities are old. Bathroom leaks. No coffee maker or anything. Must pay for internet. Good for romantic getaway only.

Lagoons were very nice; the snorkling was good.
Overpriced, and only 1 small pool and hot tub.

The staff was very polite and friendly. Because there is only 1 hot tub that gets pretty crowded, and only 1 small swimming pool, I wouldn't call this a resort. It is pretty pricey for what you ultimately get - a fairly standard nice hotel situated next to an industrial park. The parking ($30/day), restaurants. The lagoons on the property were nice - gentle, sandy beaches and good snorkeling. Unless you are traveling for business, you are better off staying elsewhere. ...read more

Nicest room I have stayed at in years.
Can not think of any.

Very classy accommodations with a world class staff. I had several requests that were met with professionalism and in a timely manner. The staff were great. The hotel itself was very clean and appealing. I felt I was on a remote tropical Island and away from the rat race. ...read more

See Hammerhead Sharks and Stingrays onside was pretty cool!
The room felt like it was a little tired.

The open lobby with real Hammerhead Sharks and Stingrays just a few steps away was terrific. The pool area was beautiful, although not huge, but the real plus was being to walk directly onto a beautiful beach and play in the warm Hawaiian waters! The room had a great view of the ocean and was spacious. It could have used a little updating as it felt a little tired for such a high-end resort. ...read more

Grounds were well kept, hotel clean, good access to grounds.
Paid parking, bell boys were not helpful in checking in. Lost & found difficult to work with.

We used this hotel for a wedding.
